Microneedling
Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation treatment for skin/hair that creates thousands of controlled microchannels in the skin to stimulate the body's natural healing response and encourage the production of collagen and elastin. Kristi also offers microneedling w/ platelet-rich plasma (PRP).
What to Expect
Step 1.
Your initial appointment includes a telehealth evaluation with one of our medical partners, Qualiphy or GoodFaithExams, as required.
During this evaluation, Kristi will review your medical history, treatment goals and determine whether you are an appropriate candidate for treatment.
Step 2.
A comprehensive skin assessment will also be performed to develop a customized treatment plan based on your individual concerns.
Step 3.
If approved, treatment may be performed the same day. Kristi will determine whether microneedling alone or microneedling combined with Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is the most appropriate option for your goals.
Step 4.
Most clients experience redness similar to a mild sunburn for 24-72 hours following treatment.
A series of treatments is often recommended for optimal results.
Following treatment, you will receive post-care instructions to support healing and maximize your results.
Microneedling + Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)
Microneedling may improve the appearance of:
-
fine lines
-
acne scars
-
enlarged pores
-
uneven texture
-
stretch marks
-
overall skin quality
Microneedling alone OR microneedling combined with Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is available depending on your goals!
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is created from a small sample of your own blood and contains concentrated growth factors that may enhance the skin's natural healing and rejuvenation process. When combined with microneedling, PRP may help improve recovery and optimize treatment outcomes for some patients.
Improvement in skin texture and appearance develops gradually as collagen remodeling occurs over several weeks.
Multiple treatment are typically recommended for optimal results.
Microneedling and PRP for hair?
In addition to skin rejuvenation, microneedling may also be used as part of a hair restoration program.
By creating controlled microchannels in the scalp, microneedling stimulates the body's natural healing response, increases blood flow to the hair follicles, and may enhance the absorption of topical hair growth products.
When combined with Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) or other provider-recommended therapies, microneedling may help improve scalp health, support existing hair follicles and promote the appearance of thicker, fuller hair over time.
